If you’re planning something a little different, I also offer dessert tables—a spread of beautiful, bite-sized bakes that make a stunning centrepiece in their own right.
Once you've secured your date and paid a deposit, I will send you a tasting box with a variety of flavours for you to sample. You can then choose your favourite flavours.
During your consultation, we’ll chat through all the important details—from the logistics of your wedding day to the design and flavours of your cake. It’s a relaxed, collaborative process where your ideas take centre stage, ensuring the final cake feels personal, seamless, and just right for your celebration.
In the days leading up to your wedding, I’ll bring your design to life—baking, decorating, and finishing every detail with care, ready for your celebration.
On the day of your wedding, I’ll personally deliver and set up your cake at the venue—so it’s perfectly in place and ready for its moment.

Hello, I’m Laura — a self-taught baker with over 10 years of experience creating cakes for weddings, celebrations, and everything in between.
I work from my dedicated cake room at home in Galashiels, where I live with my husband and our three wonderful children, Max, Theo, and Rosie. What started as a creative outlet has grown into a small, heartfelt business built on care, detail, and a real love for making people smile through cake.
Every cake I make is handcrafted with the same attention and passion I’d give to my own family’s celebrations — thoughtful, personal, and made to be remembered.

Can’t fault Laura at all on making our wedding cake. It looked and tasted delicious! Laura made our Mum and Dad's 60th Wedding Anniversary cake, it was beautiful and they were delighted with it.
We booked Laura after being let down by another supplier and we are so glad we found her! Her cakes and baking are absolutely to die for! Everyone was complementing the cakes and dessert table that we had and were asking where they were from. We would highly reccomend Laura for any occasion and will definitley look to book her again in the future. Laura made his cake for our wedding. We were totally delighted with it. It was lemon & poppyseed (gluten free) on the top, banana caramel in the middle and raspberry & vanilla on the bottom. Laura was very professional and accommodated all of our requests. The cakes tasted amazing including the gluten free layer. Highly recommend!
